Production company Benderspink continues its comic-book roll, picking up the film rights to Red 5’s new horror/action series ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction #1.
Created by Underworld screenwriter and Marvel’s New Warriors scribe Kevin Grevioux, ZMD is the story of a government weapons program in which zombies are dropped into war zones at night to infect the enemy population. To control the spread, the walking dead are engineered to be photosensitive and dissolve with the rising sun. But when one fails to self-destruct in the Middle East, an elite team of soliders must infiltrate hostile territory to stop a growing zombie army.
Benderspink also has set up Y: The Last Man and Drafted at New Line, Pencilneck at Lionsgate and Pet Robots at Disney.

More of my zombie cover art, shipping in September. Based on a WWII poster, but with a slight twist.

This evening at 4:55 in the data center that houses our servers, electrical gear shorted, creating an explosion and fire that knocked down three walls surrounding the electrical equipment room. Thankfully, no one was injured. In addition, no servers were damaged or lost.

Great preview of the new Clone Wars sketch cards. I'm excited that they got Dave Filoni (the director) and many of the animators involved on board. This is going to be a fun set. Right now I'm in the thick of working on 150+ cards, a lot of them being full color. Available July 26th. Can't wait to show my take on many of these characters.

Heroes Sketch Card Preview

I just started working on the Heroes sketch cards. It's an honor just to be included in a set that includes original art by Tim Sale.
Set should be out by the end of the month.

When I was a kid collecting Star Wars Topps cards, I never would have thought I would be working for this company. Another dream come true.
